•  About Me:

Hey Rattlers! My name is Amy Gardner...(Mrs. Coach Gardner). My family and I are excited to be a part of the Tolar community for another year!

This is my 6th year to teach in Tolar ISD, and I will be teaching 7th grade Math and Pre-Algebra, and coaching  JH Volleyball and track!

Growing up, my dad was a coach and my mom was a teacher, so we attended a few different schools including Pleasanton, Tuloso-Midway, and Decatur ISD. I was blessed to have
stayed planted after 6th grade and have a wonderful high school experience at Decatur ISD. I hope to provide Rattler students with a similar fun, educational experience as they come through my class! I graduated from Decatur High School in 1999, and attended college at Texas State University (although, it is still Southwest Texas to me!). I transferred to Hardin-Simmons University to play basketball, but only played for one year. I soon became a member of the HSU Handball club team where we earned a National Championship!  I graduated from as an HSU Cowgirl in 2004! My first teaching job was at Centerville ISD, where I coached and taught for a year under my  father-in-law. The following summer I got married and moved to Alto, where my family and I lived 12 years.

    So, a little about them…

My husband, Clint ("Mr. Coach Gardner"-District Asst. Principal), and I have been married for 17 years. We have 3 girls-Lane, Landry, and Hayden. We are excited to see what God has in store for us again here this year!

I am looking forward to another great year as a TJH Rattler and getting to know each student and his/her family!  Please stop by anytime to say hi!
