Hi there! I'm Rebecca Baker and welcome to my page!

I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 2010 with a BBS in Communication. Shortly after, God made my calling to teach abundantly clear to me, and I enrolled in an alternative certification program. While preparing for my future career as a public school teacher, I stayed home with my three children and taught part-time at a private homeschool co-op. When my youngest entered kindergarten I accepted a position as a permanent subtitute for Tolar ISD, and accepted a full-time 1st grade teaching position the next year. I hold two certifcations, EC-6 and Science of Teaching Reading, and I absolutely love watching my classroom kiddos learn and grow every day!
